Meet Dr. Cass

Dr. Cassondra Corbin-Thaddies—widely known as Dr. Cass—is redefining what’s possible in education, blending equity, innovation, and a passion for transforming lives. With over two decades of experience, she has earned recognition as a thought leader in the intersection of technology, instructional design, and systemic equity.

As the Vice President of an education technology company, Dr. Cass collaborates with educators and school leaders to design and implement cutting-edge AI-driven tools and strategies. Her work equips educators to create inclusive, future-ready classrooms, ensuring students are prepared to thrive in an ever changing world. Her career spans contributions to Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education and leadership roles that emphasize research-based innovation and transformative professional learning.

Dr. Cass is also the Founder of Connect to Greatness Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Black male students to excel academically and develop into impactful leaders. The organization’s first cohort achieved a 100% high school graduation rate, with students earning scholarships and pursuing careers in psychology, sports management, and skilled trades.

Holding a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology, Dr. Cass combines cutting-edge technology with equity-focused practices to drive transformative change in education. Her vision continues to inspire educators and leaders nationwide.

Dr. Cass has been married to her husband, James Andre Sr. for over 20 years and they are the proud parents of two sons, James Andre Jr. and Quentin Myles.
